Member of the Week: Trevor Guetschoff
Written By: Jackie Riess
Trevor Guetschoff started his two-wheel career on a Strider, soon moved to a Stacyc, then moved up to a dirt bike, all by the age of four. He began racing in District 23 ARMCA at this point, and now competes in motocross in the 50cc Electric 4-6 class. In 2021, Trevor finished 2nd overall in the class, which he believes is his greatest racing accomplishment yet! Looking ahead to this upcoming season, he has goals of qualifying for Loretta Lynn’s Amateur Motocross National in the Micro-E class, but despite achievement of this goal, he will focus on having fun this summer.
In preparation for racing, Trevor enjoys quiet time on the gate to focus his mind. Afterwards, he enjoys tacos to celebrate his hard work. Trevor continues to race in D23 ARMCA because of the quality time he spends with family and friends, as well as the travel involved with competition. Motorcycling has also helped Trevor to develop life skills that can be applied off the race track, some of which come from his coach, Mike Evenson. From these experiences, Trevor advises other D23 ARMCA members to focus on themselves and remember to have fun!
