Member of the Week: Aaron Frick

Aaron Frick is an up and coming amateur Flat Track racer in the 250cc, 450cc, and Open A Amateur classes. Though his main focus is Flat Track racing, Aaron also enjoys trail riding, ice riding, and motocross in his free time. He even strives to compete at the professional level in multiple disciplines of motorcycle racing including Flat Track, Supercross, Endurance Ice Racing, and even the Baja 1000.
Aaron began riding dirt bikes at 3 years old, and began competing in UMTA Trials soon afterwards. He continued riding recreationally until 2017 when he found D23 ARMCA Flat Track racing. He was instantly hooked and has achieved so much since then. Aaron is proud of his D23 ARMCA championships, especially his 85cc and Supermini championships in 2019, as well as his third place finish at the Dairyland Classic this past summer, and his 11th place finish in the Steel Shoe endurance ice race. Inspired by many great local and professional racers, Aaron has his sights set high to accomplish his goals and dreams.
Aaron continues to race in D23 ARMCA because of the family atmosphere and the memories created on and off the track. Motorcycling has become an everyday part of Aaron’s life, and a form of therapy to help him along the way. In addition to riding and racing, Aaron enjoys archery, driving his truck, building model cars, studying and reading, hanging with his cats, and nearly anything outdoors. Throughout his racing career, Aaron has learned that taking calculated risks is okay, and has been encouraged to focus strongly on his goals. Finally, Aaron advises other D23 ARMCA members to brave the cold and try riding on the ice this winter.
