Member of the Week: Jace Pekarek
What discipline(s) do you participate in?
I race Quad Motocross in the Supermini class.
When did you begin riding and/or racing?
I started racing when I was 5 years old.
Why do you continue to be a member of District 23 ARMCA? What do you think the benefits are?
I love racing at all the different tracks and I think it make me a better rider by doing so.
What is the greatest accomplishment of your riding/racing career?
Winning the championship in the mini production class in D23.
What are your goals for 2024? Beyond?
My goals are always to listen to older riders and take any advice they give me to help me improve on the track. I also want to take the jumps a little harder this year!
What is your favorite track, course, trail, or event and why?
My favorite track is the Cambridge track (BCMX) because the jumps are fun to hit.
What is the significance of your riding number? Was it given to you or did you pick it for a specific reason?
My number is 425—4 stands for the month I was born and 25 is the day I was born, April 25th.
What 5 words would you use to describe yourself (or your racing/riding)?
Determined, good sportsmanship, focused, fun and learning.
Who inspires you in racing or riding? And how has motorcycling impacted your life?
My brother Brady who also races, inspires me. He is always giving me pointers on how to be a better rider. I have met so many new friends while at the track!
What has been your favorite machine to race/ride and why?
My favorite machine is my Supermini. This will be my second year racing it. My supermini is fun to ride and I like hitting the jumps with it.
What else do you like to do for fun?
I like to hunt, fish, play football, archery, softball, camping and playing with my friends.
What advice has a fellow rider/racer given you that you follow?
To lean in the corners.
What advice do you have for other D23 ARMCA members?
To go out and have fun and give it your best!

Racing is a fun sport and I love it!
