Member of the Week: Zachary Brown

Fueled by a nutritious breakfast of scrambled eggs on race day, Zachary Brown has achieved so much during his riding career, and he’s only getting started. Zachary started riding dirt bikes at the age of 3½. Once turning the ripe age of 4, he began competing in Hare Scrambles and Enduros in District 23 ARMCA. Once he moved up to the 65 class, he began to see even greater success as he won both of the 2019 Hare Scramble and Enduro state championships in the 65 class. Zachary now competes in the 85cc and Junior C classes in off-road racing.
Zachary is inspired by Minnesota’s own, Ryan Dungey. Noting his strong sense of perseverance and work ethic, both things Zachary exhibits in his own riding. He also looks up to local off-road racer, Logan Kittock, who once gave him personal training and stressed the importance of standing up to have greater control of the bike. In the future, Zachary hopes to convert his mini bike skills to the bigger bike and continue his success on the trails.
In his free time, he enjoys hanging out with his friends outside, tubing on the lake, and competing in TaeKwonDo where he has achieved second degree black belt. However, he keeps coming back to racing in District 23 ARMCA because of the lifelong lessons he’s learned, like mental toughness, the great friendships he’s made here, and the highly competitive environment. Zachary advises other riders to “ride hard and have fun. Push yourself to the limit, but most importantly, have fun.”
