AMA memberships are valid for 1 year from the month of purchase. They also have 3 year membership options. Check your card’s expiration date. It is good until the last day of the month that is listed on the card.
The AMA offers Electronic Annual Release Forms for families to fill out for minor and adult racers ahead of their events. These are only valid for the calendar year and expire on December 31st each year.

ALL DISCIPLINES: It is required for all competitors in Youth Classes to wear chest and back protection. The protector may be worn under or over the jersey, and it should cover the sternum, anterior ribs, posterior ribs, and spine from T1 to T12. For road racing a back protector must be worn under their leathers unless integrated into the design of the leathers.
